POSITIVITY

Yep. Still near 1K per day
(*7 day)
SYNDROMIC DATA
(chart I haven't shown much, because it's not often updated)

Look at the red line. And look at the jump. Back in August, 2.76% of all outpatient visits in this surveillance network had COVID-like symptoms.

We're now at 14.5%

This is obviously significant.
Here's another link for you to watch. This is going to be a BIG deal in days and weeks to come.

This is the dial dashboard. Will tell you what stage your county is in right now.

(most counties are currently in "safer level 1 and 2"

BUT...

Looks like, according to CDPHE. Logan County is now in level 3.

Why is level 3 significant?

Because when you go down, you have to limit occupancy in most buildings. Go from 50% occupancy to 25%.

That's a HUGE deal for, let's say, restaurants right now
Many counties currently in level 2 (Lookin at you Denver and Adams) are seeing the kind of spread that threatens to push the counties back to level 3

Level 3 is NOT what small businesses want right now. It could be devastating.
the counties and CDPHE are doing a bit of a delicate dance right now trying to avoid level 3.

but I would expect more and more counties to openly talk about the very real problem VERY SOON.

in the carrot and stick approach, we are quickly running out of carrots.
What's it all mean?

Still no sign of that crest in the statewide numbers.

We're still going up.

If it slowed tomorrow, we'd be fine.

But there's no sign of that happening right now.

Again. It's not about where we are but where we're going.
