Anyway, it’s worth nothing how differently this Emily-bagman scene played out than it would’ve, say, 15 years ago.

Bagman’s advances would’ve played as sweet and “foreign” (of the Euro style) before—now shut down quickly by Emily, whose annoyance is palpable.
