I love how all 3 of them basically have the same relationships with the person that saved them. They're enslaved by this life-debt which makes them very eager to risk/throw away their life to ensure their saviors safety. The only one who manages to break this pattern is Domi(1/4)
+which probably has a lot to do with how Eugene from the start gave him the sense of only helping him in his fight but not fighting for him & later on let him stay close to him & be helpful in a less self-destructive way. Probably because Eugene knew better than most(2/4)
+how easy it is to get trapped in this unhealthy mindset. It also instantly makes him understands why Dong Mae cut AeShins hair after being given only a very vague explanation. While Eugene would've never crossed the line the way DM did he still seems to be the only one who(3/4)
+while not approving at all, at least understands the reason.
Anyway I think that is one of many examples why the writing in MS is so strong. It's just all planned out so meticulously. There's always the sense that everything is connected somehow & nothing is left to chance(4/4)
