1/ I keep seeing this "Trump made wokeism worse" narrative, and--I gotta tell ya--it just aggravates me to no end!

Here's the skinny:

They were content to propagandize the youth for years and finally grew bold enough to take their insurrectionist philosophies public during the Ferguson riots. (Technically, the Occupy Wall Street movement came first, but no one was using the term...

3/... "woke" then.) That happened during the Obama administration.

@clairlemon drew a similar parallel recently: The Black Power movement--which also espouses a pro-Marxist ideology--rose up only *after* the Civil Rights Act was passed.

Why?

Because these anti-American...

4/... , or anti-"whiteness", or anti-capitalist, etc., groups ACT when they feel emboldened.

So, the woke were *always* going to try and tear it all down! There is no scenario where they make peace with the capitalist white patriarchy, as they see it, and we all sit around...

5/... the campfire singing Kumbaya.

The only question is whether they were going to be allowed to take over without a fight.

Trump let it be known right away thst he wasn't going to kowtow to p.c. culture, which is an important tool that wokeys use to enact their agendas...

6/... (i.e., because they count on people being too nice or polite or civil to call them on their b.s.).

So, OF COURSE they pushed back against him harder then they would have against some mild mannered politician who is too afraid to upset anyone by speaking out of turn!

7/ But, the essentialt takeaway here, is this: Trump didn't "make" the woke "worse". They are who they are, and their agenda has never changed.

If anything, he caused them to REVEAL just how hateful and nasty they are before it was too late to do anything to stop them.

Even though they expend a laughable amount of energy and resources trying to paint the man as a despotic bigot: He's not. He's an alpha male capitalist who does what we wants, and makes no apologies.

THAT'S why they hate him.

None of those other slick-haired, crocodile smiling, empty suit politicians in Washington will have the gumption to call them out.

They just want everything to go back to normal, no matter the cost. They want to "play nice" and reason with their enemies.

But, you can't reason with the woke.
