I see images of police in uniform wearing political campaign gear...while at voting centers. I can’t stress how wrong this is. We have the power of the state. We must not be bullies of the state. Or we don’t deserve the trust of the state. And yes, our neighbors are the state

We need to change what it means to be police in America. We have to change this.

As an individual, sure a cop can & should vote & support whatever candidates she chooses. But in uniform, we represent our neighbors. ALL OF OUR NEIGHBORS. In uniform, we don’t get to push our choices because what we do is done in everyone’s name. Don’t like it? Don’t be a cop
