Watching the second COVID wave in the EU continues to make me think a lot of people owe the south an enormous apology for COVID-shaming them over the summer
"Why can't the US contain this, they contained it in Europe, we obviously just suck"

Take a very very hard look at yourself and how you treated people and ask if maybe you made some bad assumptions and then used those assumptions to fuel your shaming of sick people.
I am curious if this winter actually brings a COVID surge in the Pacific Northwest, which I think is the only really populous place that hasn't yet seen a severe surge.
