Thread on things to remember when interacting with JP fandom, art, and etc. based on my experience:
This is most important: Please do not QRT (quote tweet) their art! Those other Japanese twt users you see who *do* qrt art are usually their mutuals. Even if you& #39;re mutuals with the JPN artist, make sure they are comfortable with u qrt-ing their art. If you& #39;re unsure, DONT DO IT!
I see a lot of people saying "FUB Free" is the best way to let them know you& #39;re okay w being followed/unf/blocked, but they actually use the term "remove" instead of unfollow! So, it would be clearer to say 「F/R/B ご自由に」(= "feel free to F/R/B") instead of FUB

(Additional note regarding excusing yourself if you want to reply but you& #39;re not following them: Some Japanese people are strict in regards to this. NOT ALL Japanese people are like this, but some of them blocks the person that don& #39;t do this - however it& #39;s not always needed.)
This has been said many times, but I must reiterate to NEVER make a sarcastic joke when complimenting the artist, like "delete this" or "I hate this". It doesn& #39;t translate well in google translate, and they will take that seriously! If you see the word 「繋がりたい」in the tags of an art (for example #___ツイステ好きさんと繋がりたい ) it means that they are looking for mutuals in that same fandom! If after you RT that post and they message/tag you, it means they want to be mutuals! In connection with tags, PLEASE USE THE APPROPRIATE TAG FOR YOUR FANDOM. for example, don& #39;t just use the tag "# [fandom]_夢" and such for something not related to self-ship, since that is a self-shipping tag! If you find a "do not reprint" or "do not repost" in an artist& #39;s bio, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CONTACTING THEM IN THE REPLIES/MESSAGES ASKING IF YOU CAN POST IT IN OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA SITES. I cannot stress this enough

Continuing the "do not repost", EVEN IF THEY DON& #39;T HAVE IT ON THEIR BIO, ALWAYS ASSUME THE ARTIST DOESN& #39;T WANT THEIR ART TO BE DOWNLOADED BY OTHERS AND POSTED IN FB, IG, ETC WITH OR WITHOUT CREDIT. Always ask for permission first, and if they have "do not reprint/repost",DONT ASK
Going back to tags, I forgot to mention that JP fandom always tags their stuff really good, which avoids fandom drama. If they don& #39;t like it, they mute the tag - simple as that. People don& #39;t go through their tags to call them out for, say, drawing art that contains blood.

Most of the time you& #39;ll see these words, and you can choose to mute it:
血 = blood
ネタバレ = spoilers
注意 = caution (there could be something triggering here and etc.)
CP = means "Couple", or "ship" in english slang terms.

ショタ/ロリ= shota/loli tags doesn& #39;t automatically mean in a sexual way, it could be a character drawn as a kid. Be careful with this tag however, since it could have some works you don& #39;t want to see. In those cases, they should have a "R18" tag beside it.

I can& #39;t list out all the Japanese ship names in your fandom, so it& #39;s important that you learn them yourself, so you can mute the tag in your account. If that doesn& #39;t work, mute/block the person that draws something you don& #39;t like - this will avoid unecessary drama in the future.

Please DO NOT use official hashtags for your fandom to promote NSFW art!! Each fandom has their own NSFW tag, and if not, they use another site like http://poipiku.com"> http://poipiku.com or http://privatter.net"> http://privatter.net so the art is hidden. There could be minors searching the tag for normal art!
If not necessary, please don& #39;t tag official JP twt accts (ex. @/tkrb_ht) to your post (unless ur replying to their post).If you want to tag your artwork/fic/works, official hashtags are made with that in mind!

Just keep in mind that some JPN/KR/CN artists dislike QRTs and there is a chance you& #39;ll get blocked if they can& #39;t understand your qrt, and this also applies to replies. Make sure if you reply in english that google translate can get the message you want to convey.
