Had fucking professors be like "i don't care who died and I don't believe you were sick turn in your work" like this world isn't fucking on fire

After I composed myself, my response to them was just,
"I want to be as clear as I can, here: You were sick with a potentially life-threatening disease and a very close family member passed away, all during the middle of some truly horrific, stressful, and unprecedented times…
