What they won’t tell you about dropshipping

My 3 years of L’s in a thread

[A thread]
First off let me say that dropshipping changed my life and I recommend it 100% if you want to start making money online and you dont have a lot of capital to start

I started with only $400

That being said it is also not easy at all
Keep in mind when you are drooshipping and creating your own store , NO ONE is going to just magically start visiting your site once it’s up and running

You HAVE to be good at some form of paid advertising such as

- Facebook ads

- Snapchat ads

- Influencer marketing

Etc
I chose the Facebook ads route and it was incredibly hard to learn

Everybody on YouTube preaches a different strategy and you can easily get caught in the analysis paralysis stage

My advice is find ONE person who’s killing it and follow their strategies to the T
Some people make money their first try running Facebook ads, for some it may take months and for others it may never happen

This is why it is important to be careful on who you learn from

Luckily I had a great mentor and work ethic and have been able to create my own strategy
Besides having to be good at paid advertising

You will also have to be good at creating content

Whether that’s for your ads you are running or if it’s just for your website / social media

CONTENT MATTERS

Shitty content will get you no where
You will either have to get good at this or outsource all the work

I recommend Fiverr to get decent graphics and logos for your online business

But the quality on Fiverr is subpar

Eventually you will want to find a pro or an agency that makes graphics / content to be elite
Besides ads , marketing and graphics

You will also need some copywriting skills to be able to create engaging product descriptions and other pages

I recommend reading some copywriting books or watching YT videos

@SCHM7DT has a 🔥 video on how to create product descriptions
Also product research is 99% of the business

If you can’t find a good product to sell , you will make 👉 $0

There are various product research methods out there you can try

Ive compiled all the best ones in this video below
Once you have content , graphics , your website setup , a product , good product descriptions , ads running , etc

You will now need to hire a VA or be your own customer service rep

If you have a good product and ad , trust me you will get TONS of comments on your content
You will also get TONS of emails

Someone has to constantly be answering questions and engaging with your customers

If you don’t you will fall off quick
Something else no one talks about is dealing with suppliers

Obviously if you are using aliexpress or alibaba there is a language barrier and it is not always easy to communicate with them

Try and find a good dropshipping agent that speaks good English or use a US supplier
Or you can learn mandarin but good luck with that shit

I could go ON and ON and ON about all the bs you will go through

But ima keep it 💯 and just let you know that e-commerce is not for the weak

So if you are a simp don’t bother joining any of my programs or DMing me
I hope this thread helped somebody and opened your eyes on what it takes to be successful in this industry

I wanted to make the thread longer and also go into situations like when your bank gets shutdown due to too many transactions or when Stripe or PayPal put you on hold BUT
I’ma save it for later

Hope this helped somebody 🔥
