I really would love to educate my nail lovers on why they need to stop going to chop shops (nail salons) and why they shouldn’t get sns but nobody wants to listen to me

Many Asian nail salons are using MMA monomer which is ILLEGAL to use in salons! This monomer damages the natural bed leaving your nails brittle, weak,causes infections & can eat away your entire natural nail bed. This monomer is meant to be used in dentistry to restore dentures

Along with using this illegal monomer MANY of these salons do not follow sanitation codes. Nail files, buffers, sanding bits (anything that can not be cleaned like metal implements) must be thrown out after EACH client. This is to not spread any germs between clients...

Metal implements are to be cleaned daily and sealed in a sterilization pouch before used on a new client. How many times have you gone to a nail shop and seen them use barbicide?! Or remove implements (tweezers, nail clippers, cuttle cutters etc) from a sterilization pouch...

And to quickly talk about SNS it’s just nasty. Y’all do realize you’re dipper your nail inside the powder that hundreds of other people have been dipped to right? There is absolutely no way to clean that powder and even if they pour it over you the powder that falls off goes

Right back into the jar so regardless it’s contaminated powder. There is an article of a women contracting HIV because of improper sanitation at her local nail salon. I’ll have to find the article

There’s so much to know about nails it is more than just crisp shaping, non bulky nails and picking a color. PLEASE go to someone with the proper education on how to keep your natural nails healthy, is sanitary and provides quality work!!!

And please stop thinking acrylic damages your nails!! It is your nail tech who damages your nails! ALL of my clients nails are strong, LONG, and healthy because they are consistent with me!!! I am always sharing nail info on my IG be sure to follow @nailedbyki_ (my client)
