VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If you're reaching out to clients over email/phone/social media

These people get 100's of emails per day

So to get their attention

You want to use a "PATTERN INTERRUPT"

[THREAD]
Most of the time when people get a cold email

They instantly see/skim it

And think to themselves

No thanks.
The issue here is that they KNOW it's a sales email right away by how it's formatted or other tell-tale signs.

So they default to what they are comfortable with

Deleting the email.
What you need to do is find something different to catch their eye.

The best place to start is the subject line.

Try out different one-word lines

But avoid "Hello" or "Hey"

They are often viewed as spam.
In a world of automated and long-winded emails?

Keep them short and personalized.

OR

Only send one line.
Sales Presentation?

Change your first 1-3 slides to shock them about what's happening in their industry.
If you're reading this thread - even how I started it could be a pattern interrupt.
