* In the latest week of data (to 09OCT) there were 9954 deaths

* In the same week in 2019, more people died (9973)

* c19 deaths (green) are low relative to overall mortality

* "Cases" (grey) soar and are unrelated to other metrics

* While hospital admissions (purple) are climbing, c19 deaths (green) are relatively flat

* Respiratory disease (orange) is below the 5yr average (red dotted)

* The decline in c19 NHS triage (dotted black) suggests that panic is subsiding

A small fraction are now dying of c19 now compared to when in the spring, hospital admissions (purple), test positivity (blue) and NHS triage (dotted) were at similar levels to the current levels.
