Equity bank, Kenya Ltd, in partnership with Nyandarua County Government and Nyandarua Youth in Agribusiness Forum, has launched a financial linkage programme for Youth agripreneurs called Young Africa Works. The programme's main objective is to offer financial support to
Youths who are carrying out ventures along priority agribusiness value chains. The loan facility ranges from Kshs 50k (minimum ) to Kshs 1m (maximum) without Collaterals. The ventures should be agribusiness in nature, that is, agriinput supply, agriproduction and/or
agriindustries (that is agricultural trade, agricultural consultancy, agricultural marketing, agro processing, agricultural machineries and equipment). ELIGIBILITY. 1. Any Youth (18 to 35 years) in Nyandarua County willing to start or already carrying out an agribusiness
venture. 2. Having attended an agribusiness course for 1 week or longer in a recognised institution. 3 Bankable funding proposal and Business plan. 4. Letter of Farm owner, guardian or Leaser in case of agriproducers or owner of the premise where one operates from in case of
