From underpaid, overworked freelancer...

... to well-paid CEO closing $25K/mo deals, while only working 4-hours a week.

A short THREAD on our Hybrid CEO system for how we help clients build a lifestyle business...
Our clients come to us with the same problems:

- Overworked, and
- Underpaid

But like clockwork, I have clients telling me:

"It feels weird to work so few hours" while also getting paid more than they ever have in their lives.

This is at the core of our Hybrid CEO system.
Here’s a snapshot of an average freelancers business:

They do everything IN the business.

They do the marketing, the sales, the client service delivery, the accounting, the customer service, they manage ALL of this themselves.
The clients are generally in control of the deliverables.
Each client gets a different service.

And..

There’s really no consistency in the deliverables.

So you become overworked, and remain on the client hamster wheel.
I’ve found that there’s generally two types of people.

The first person is creative. They like working with a lot of different businesses and solving new problems every single time. The other person is more into systems.

They think like a business owner, not an artist.
They want to make everything systemized and productized.

They like knowing exactly what each client is getting service-wise, and how much time it’s taking to deliver to that client.

This is where the Hybrid CEO Model comes in
With this model in place, you’ll know exactly how much time you’re going to spend on each client, and your business becomes very scalable, without sacrificing client results.

And contrary to pop. belief: You don't need a huge team to hit high 6-figures, or low 7-figures.
There are two basic components to the Hybrid CEO model.

1. How you structure your offer
2. How you fulfill your offer (aka how you deliver the goods!)

Let’s dive into offer structure first.

There are two options here.

A. Productized service offer
B. Leveraged offer
So here’s how it works...

(The very-basics)

1. Examine the mechanism you use to get your clients results

2. Strip it down into its bare components
With a productized offer, the offer is designed to:

- Solve a specific problem for a specific type of business or person, and the client really doesn’t get a say in it

- The deliverables are determined by you, not your client

You dictate what the client needs + doesn’t need.
I want you to think of your service like a pre-packaged delivery.

If you could take your service and just give it to someone in a box, they would open it up and say “awesome, this is exactly what I need!”
Next up, is the leveraged offer. This is a great model if it makes sense for your business.

My definition of leverage offer is something you create once and then you can sell it again and again with minimal time invested after.
So if you have a recipe for delivering results to your clients, we would strongly recommend it for you.

The cool thing is when you front-load your offer like this. You do all of the work up-front, and you have an asset which can work for you for years.
With a leveraged offer, you’re actually teaching them how to get results themselves.

It’s kind of like the old saying...Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for life. So it’s a win-win.
Anyways, here's the meat:

Let's say you've identified your core mechanism.

The next step is to create a great process for each.

What I mean by this is, a step-by-step plan you can give to anyone who joins your team, and have them replicate the process on future clients.
...without needing a ton of training.

A good step by step process enables 1 person to the job of multiple people.

“Here’s how you create an ad.”

“Here’s what happens when an ad campaign fails.”

“Here’s how to build landing pages.”

You get the idea.
Here’s one way to do this:

Break every component of your offer down (GRANULAR, don't skip), and record yourself building those parts out, so that you can easily replicate what you’re doing for the next client.
This takes care of the "work" part.

I.E

How do I work less?

There's no way around it - you need to create a process that is repeatable & easy to follow.

A client of ours took this step, and offloaded nearly 40-hours of work each week.

It's simple, but overlooked.
Regardless of which model you pick, you HAVE to make sure you’re charging a premium price, not based on what you think is right, or what your competition is doing, but rather based on the value of the result you deliver.
You don’t want to charge based on your deliverables, or how many hours you’re working with someone, or how many weeks your program consists of. You don’t charge based on any feature like that.
So if you’re currently struggling to charge over $5,000 for your service, you most likely need to work on your mindset, your offer positioning...or maybe your target market is off. You might just be targeting everyone who is super broke.
Beyond, this we help people realize:

- What they actually want in life
- What fulfills them (emotionally, spiritually)
- What they need time-wise in terms of fitness & mindset

Then we schedule work around these core components.

I.E a biz that fits into YOUR life.
The idea here is:

Every person needs non-negotiables.

Areas of life that we can't negotiate with.

For most, it's fitness, their mind, and fulfillment outside of work. So we optimize for these areas by reducing our work load and scheduling remaining work around these areas
I wanted to cover the actually methodology of the Hybrid CEO model, but realized the thread would be too long.
