It’s like renting a flat and when it turns out there’s no hot water, the landlord say “hot water for an extra fee”

But this is my relationship with money right now

I want a digital heap of cash that I can send to people and exchange for goods and services

I don’t want to worry that my German bank will suddenly realize I no longer live in Germany

I don’t want to find roundabout ways to pay an employee in Belarus

I love that at last people are creating an easy-to-use shady financial system (Ethereum), because my life is shady and I want to do shady things and Ethereum is a good match

I have bought salted potatoes because they go well with anger

Now my palate hurts and I would have said that I regret it

“Do you want to pay in your home currency?” is a 100% scam and should be banned, for instance

Scams are bad not because people waste money, but because people waste time trying to avoid scams

Ie. if people routinely spend an hour trying to avoid a particular $1 charge, the $1 charge should be prohibited

When I have my own country — and I will — one of its selling points will be “you can relax here and still not end up being a sucker”

People get executed (?) for drugs in Singapore, but what people should get actually executed for is the fake big “download” buttons

It’s probably better to express things as “I really don’t like X” rather than “for fuck’s sake”
