STANLEY KUBRICK was a brilliant director. He released some of the greatest movies in film history, but he had projects that were never completed.Today we will tell you the story of 'SHADOW ON THE SUN'.
STANLEY KUBRICK, who was a big fan of radio dramas, heard in the ‘60s a BBC radio serial called 'Shadow on the Sun'. This serial was a science fiction story about a meteorite carrying a deadly virus landing on Earth.
In 1988, STANLEY KUBRICK bought the film rights for a scant £1,500. KUBRICK finalized a script for 'Shadow on the Sun' that’s been described as having the same vibe of TIM BURTON's 'Mars Attacks!' (starring JACK NICHOLSON) and 'WAR OF THE WORLDS' (starring TOM CRUISE).
