Peter Pan, SKZ, and the darker truth of it - all the links we know.

The OG story of Peter Pan is... grim. Peter is a kidnapper, stealing young children from their cots and prams to trap them on an island of forever-youth. These kids trust him blindy, still, following him as their leader.

At first it seems Chan can be our Peter. He convinces the Lost Boys/SKZ to break out of their daily life in D9 and follow him to the promised 'District', their Neverland.
But for SKZB, this is Hyunjin, the flipside leader.

“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.” -Pan.The message behind Neverending Story, reaching out to somebody - the other half of you, as SKZ are separated from their other timelines by trials they're willing to transcend time for.

And then there's Hook, the captain - though Chan seeks to dethrone him.
"I have a dream of being the captain of the boat we are on." - Chan, Broken Compass.

Peter's feud with Hook is fuelled by desire for control, even at the sacrifice of their health and safety.

To reference another tale, SKZ are reincarnating Icarus, the boy that flew too close to the sun. Peter insists to fly all you need is 'faith, trust, and pixie dust.' Their confidence grew in Gods Menu and Levanter as they throw away false keys and find all they need inside themselves. They have their faith, and their trust in Chan is unbreakable. The pixie dust comes last.

What they try to reach - the final door, their own district - Bay 8.
In a dried up ocean, now a red desert, a door, holding the secrets to their maze of memories and the red crystals we keep seeing.

Hook's clock eating crocodile is their Chronosaurus, chasing them with a 'tik tok, tik tok, getting closer', a monster they can't escape even in their sleep. He's always floating nearby, haunting your every move.

SKZB are finding ways around it. Though it'd be bold to say they can stop time itself, they find ways to evade it. After all, time runs different on a quantum scale. They can flip the switch as they like.

Though the lesser known of the two, Wendy isn't Peter's last girl. Jane Darling, her daughter, also encounters to boy, repeating the loop. And in the end, Peter, is once again left stranded on a lone island in the sky as Jane convinces the Lost Boys to go home to earth.
