Full disclosure: I did not support his first, or second, terms as Governor. He's done nothing to buttress my least-common denominator: the worst Democrat is better than the best Republican.

Oh yeah. I remember a LOT of Black people telling he "he's an alright guy."
Yes, I take his non-vote personally. I was one of Rep. John Lewis' Chiefs of Staff. This is the famous Life magazine of the Selma march Mr. Lewis signed for me and my late wife when I left Capitol Hill. He also signed one for each of my three children.
Hogan disrespected the lives and fight of Andrew Goodman, Michael Schwerner and John Chaney, whose bodies were found in an earthen dam. Oh, by the way, over a dozen other unidentified bodies were also found in "Freedom Summer" t-shirts.
Hogan disrespected the life of Viola Liuzzo, a Detroit native, who went to register voters and was murdered taking them home. I believe this photo is of her in a march for the right of people to register to vote.
Hogan disrespected the courage of Black women who put their lives on the line for people to be able to vote.
Hogan disrespected my late wife, a Harvard Law graduate who, even while she was bedridden with multiple sclerosis, would knock on doors, raised money and did all she could to get people to vote.
Hogan disrespected Fannie Lou Hamer and Diane Nash, fearless freedom fighters for the vote.
Hogan disrespected the life-long fight of my former boss, Rep. John Lewis.
FIN/Don't be disrespectful.

Hell yeah, I'm a proud member of the Democratic Party.

I proudly voted for the #BidenHarris2020Landslide because I looking at ther program, know they can #BuildBackBetter.

It's either freedom or fascism.
