Fun Fact:
Tony never mentored MCU Spidey and basically ignored Peter for most of Homecoming's duration while Peter chose not to listen to Stark and continued to chase after Vulture, and never once asked for his help. (Read the rest of the thread)
Not only that but Peter chastised Tony every time he helped him and insisted he could do it alone independently of Tony. Oh, did I neglect to mention that Peter was Spider-Man for 6 months before Stark showed up at his doorstep to use him as a means to an end?
In the end of Homecoming Peter proved that he could be Spider-Man independently. He proved he didn't need Stark. He defeated Vulture solo, without any Stark Tech nor help from Stark. Just his sweat suit and webshooters.
Sure, Tony gave him 2 suits, so? He did that in the comics. Peter uses Stark tech to make his suit? How's that any different than using the Fantastic Four's tech? If you don't like MCU Spidey that's fine, but don't say that he's too dependenant on Stark. That's objectively wrong.
Anyhow, that's all I have to say. Here's a good message for y'all.
If the problem you have with this version of Peter Parker is the lack of Uncle Ben's importance to the plot, give this a watch. It's a matter if whenever or not they can find a way to integrate him in.
