I know Boston Scott is going to be in literally every single waiver-wire article this week, and I get it if you& #39;re desperate at the position.
But here& #39;s why you should NOT spend your entire FAAB or even use a top claim on him unless you& #39;re super in need at RB.

In Week 1, without Sanders, Scott had only three more carries than Corey Clement (9 to 6) and the exact same amount of targets (2).
Scott will not be used like Sanders or anything close to it.

In fact, the only time Scott has received more than 10 carries in a game in his career was Week 17 last year. And even that wasn& #39;t until Miles Sanders left the game due to injury after getting 9 carries of his own.
In that game, Scott had 19 carries for just 54 yards.

This is partly due to his stature - standing at just 5& #39;6" and 203 pounds.
Scott isn& #39;t really someone who is built for a feature role.

I& #39;ll admit that I was one who thought Scott would have real sneaky bench value this season in PPR, even with Sanders starting. This was mostly because Scott saw four-straight games of 6+ targets to end 2019.
In 2020 so far, though, he& #39;s seen a total of 10 targets in 6 gms

Sanders could also be back within the next 2 weeks. And especially if you& #39;re thinking long-term, it would be foolish to blow your entire FAAB or waste a top waiver claim on Scott unless you really need a body at the position.
Again, Scott was someone I had high some hopes for in certain leagues in 2020, as did many others.
But don& #39;t let previously hopeful takes from the summer distract you from the facts.

If you really, really need help at RB, especially this week, then you can certainly worse than Scott.
But if you& #39;re just looking to add someone to your bench for the ROS, I don& #39;t believe Scott is that guy unless we find out Sanders& #39;s injury is worse than it appears.

Even if you& #39;re only looking for a FLEX or DFS play this week, the Giants have actually been the the 8th-best team against the run so far, and they& #39;ll be playing on Thursday night.
There are still probably better options than Scott.
