Recently reminded about a few things that I want to share with you.

- Being particular about who/what/where/ how often you engage with something/someone is important.
- Never compromise who you are, how you feel. Never ever.

Very important — don’t be afraid to say no, no thanks to any opportunity (whether you’re feeling it or not & for any reason/no reason.
Protect your sanity & well-being at all costs.
I am personally very bullish about that last one.

I will admit that I don’t like when folks have access to me/to communicate with me on multiple platforms. I’d rather not.

I know it’s difficult to capture nuance on here and it feels like these platforms have become way way less about authentic engagement & all the way UP on self promotion. Ugh

You don’t have to do anything you don’t agree with. Ever! And please, don’t ever just agree to make someone else happy.
That shit will fester & become a problem.

One last point that has to be said — a lot of folks on here want to associate themselves w/folks they feel have “influence” or whatever. They only want that, RTs or to piggy back on your work.
