TUA TAGOVAILOA Thread!!!!

First play came with 2:27 left in the 4th quarter with the chance to kill the clock. Look at the beauty of the hand off and fake the roll out which proved wise on the next couple of plays

I love this lineup around Tua on second down. Lynn bowden Jr, Breida and Laird account for most of the speed on offense excluding jakeem. Watch him roll out and look confident in his hip to avoid a free rusher and get his first completion in the NFL to Laird

I loved everything on our only 3rd conversion of the day. He identifies the blitz to throw to that side, he looks at his first read in Isaiah forcing the safety to move to the center of the field & tua snaps to jakeem and hits him in the open area he created. Next level awareness

A designed run off an RPO look on first down

The final play to ice the game came off another designed run off an RPO look. This play also nearly gave me a heart attack as Tua tried to take a page from Fitz book and throw a lead block

Overall we truly got something special in Tua Tagovailoa. Seeing how he navigated that 3rd down gives me goose bumps as we have never had any rookie QB in my time show the ability to read and process the field as quickly as Tua did on only his 3rd play in the NFL

Also out of the 5 plays Tua played, 1 came from under center 1 from pistol and 3 from shotgun so its nice to see Gailey play to Tua strengths

Kinda fitting that I did this at 8am and by 12pm we found out he would be the starter. Still surreal
