mercury Rx periods this year (mostly) happened in water signs, and next year will be in all air signs

Mercury Rx next year:
• AquariusCapricorn (January 30- February 21)

• GeminiTaurus (May 30 - June 23)

• Libra Virgo (September 27 - October 18)

Just sharing the element patterns in this thread because I love seeing big pictures trends. Next year, thanks to the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius in late December of this year, will be a big focus on air!

In general, 2020 was very cardinal. Saturn-Pluto in Capricorn. Very Saturnian and lots of Mars (with half the year being Mars in Aries). And there were Rx periods in every water sign season, too. That shaped and flavoured the year a very different way to how 2021 is like!

2021, by comparison, is more focused on the fixed element. Mars will finally end its 6 month stay in Aries and move into Taurus at long last, and Jan 20 will conjunct Uranus. From Feb 1-18, Venus/Mercury/Jupiter/Saturn will be in Aquarius

So we have an Aquarius stellium at some point too, in addition to the Mercury Rx periods in air signs. And while the Saturn-Pluto conjunction shaped 2020, the Saturn-Uranus square will probably be the prevailing energy (in my opinion) for next year

The stuff I’m talking about here is very big picture, how it’ll affect you really comes down to a lot of factors— you’d really have to approach your transits using a holistic POV (considering activated houses/planets, exact aspects, etc.), this is more about the worldly trend

With Saturn-Pluto we saw recession, which makes sense as it happened in the sign of Capricorn. Saturn-Pluto, to recap, happened on January 12, 2020. A day later we had the first case outside of China (in Thailand). The WHO declared COVID-19 a public health emergency on January 30

We got a brief idea of Saturn-Uranus in March-April I believe, of this year, after it was declared a pandemic. We had high innovation motivated by the tension (square) of restriction (Saturn). Saturn-Uranus can be about disruption to structure, which this time period was about.

As they say, necessity is the mother of invention. And this was readily observable, as Saturn in Aquarius is also the Saturn return of the World Wide Web! Look at how on par these Saturn in Aquarius/Saturn-Uranus square headlines are:

The questions arising: What are our boundaries (Saturn in Aquarius) in the face of disruptive restriction (Saturn-Uranus square)?

I think this coming year will involve us setting more boundaries with internet privacy laws, while also reconciling the push to innovate with the motivation to build (Uranus in Taurus) with Saturn in Aquarius’ push for sustainable systems, regulations, and rules
