My current house. Its about 90 years old and the basement has always had problems with flooding and we have never used it. That leads to two side rooms. Both of which I have never seen. I rember sitting at the top of the stairwell watching the men work when the single hanging bulb that lit the room flickered and one of the men in the room pointed deeper in and said "what the fuck is that?"

There was loud splashing and the men all moved into one room and me being a little kid noped out of there and ran.

Obviously everything seemed fine and no one brought it up and the workers all came out. But we still never go down into the basement
