Anyone else like to think about machines with their own motor or other power system as having some sort of "soul?"
Like, a hand tool is just a tool. But a car, a washer, a vacuum, are different
You can take an S2000 and put in racing seats, new bushings, new ECU tune, remove the soft top, it& #39;s essentially the same car. But an LS swap? New soul. Different car.
The machine soul, to me, is not necessarily literally life. But it& #39;s not just a metaphor either. I relate to these machines as if they truly are alive, at least as much as a tree is
Oh, and computers!
