Mejo unrelated but funny that I received the same confession back in between the months of June&July when I started talking to this guy from (somewhere in Manila) na I never as in never ko kinwentp sa kahit sino. It’s the 1st time I’m sharing this to anyone.

Nothing deep. Won’t speak in details how I met him in the virtual world. I just started having small conversation w/ him. it went so well from “how do u like ur coffee” to the complexity of governmental interests and issues.
I like it when I can have significant conversations with someone. It’s like having an intellectual connection. I admired how this person thinks but I was not really into romantic turns. I just like the sensible company and discourse.
Then in mid July, I received his confession (just like the same from the tweet above) and adding that he was amazed daw as to how I see the world and how he can learn so much from me. I said I appreciate the sentiments but—
I was and still am in my most chaotic phase and I actually like someone else lol

Plus I humbly suggested na we can be friends like hoy who wouldn’t want a friend na ganon ang range, full of substance.

Sabi nya okay lang daw and he understand BUT he politely declined my offer of friendship. Which quite saddened me.

It feels like I am keeping something special for someone I haven’t met. And even though it didn’t turn out the way he expected it, I very much appreciate his existence.

I hope he is doing well in his life endeavors and if he can read this (if ‘di na ako blocked) I pray that he gets to find someone that make him feel like he owns the boundlessness of the universe.
