The most difficult age for man is probably between 23 & 30 yrs. The pressure to be something is so immense. When u look around u, everyone seems to be doing something for themselves, people seem to be living the life that u dream of. (thread/1)

U have applied for jobs & the results have been more disappointing than Rahul Gandhi shot at PM post. Sadly, this is the age when most guys lose it. The age when, if not careful, one is consumed by alcohol & drugs bcoz the disappointments become too much. (2)

The worst is when the friends you went to school with get degrees, find jobs & your circle of friends grows thinner. More often than not, they don't cut u out; u cut yourself out bcoz u are embarrassed of the way your life has turned out. (3)

After all, what work do you have in a WhatsApp group where everyone are discussing how much fun the trip to Goa was last week? & probably planning their next trip to Shimla, Maldives when u don't know where ur next meal will come from. (4)

At times u will follow the convo silently, all alone like a cross on a grave until soon u realise this is no longer ur crowd bcoz the more u hang out with them, the more the pressure to become something gets.(5)

U keep quiet when plans abt a house party arise bcz u have no idea where an extra 6 guys would fit in ur flat. Have u ever sat around people discussing the launch of the new iPhone 12 or how shitty indiGo Airways' service is & you can feel ur heart >>>(6)

whisper, at that very chestpain hour, that u need to find a group that discusses how expensive City Bus fare has become from GhantaGhar to ShastriNagar?
But still u sit there as people get lost in their lifestyle conversation.(7)

U are totally forgotten. Suddenly in a while, one of your friends will turn & ask if u need another drink & u will wonder if u should just say no & head home. Bt head home & do what? So you lie & say "I will have one last one"(8)

After a few yrs of job hunting, u are now ready to do anything, even if it means doing work as Peon. To imagine that all those yrs struggling to get a degree have now been reduced to work as a peon (9)

U will come across ur friends, they will offer u food & take pics with u for the Insta. Bt it's always ur face that is the odd one out in every pics. Not even the best filters can hide your face which has borne the city dust. (10)

The worst mistake u can do during this period is try dating. There is nothing that a person going through such times can offer in terms of today's idea of love. How will u go on romantic evening walks or Dinner date when u are tired of doing Peon work?(11)

This is the age when u sit back & watch the girl you want to date, will date & marry guys yrs older than u & u can't blame them, it's just that seems to be progressing slower than their goals in life.(12)

This is the age when u learn a lot abt the hardships of life. This age teaches u a lot abt your love, friendship, career growth & personal responsibility. How u live ur life in ur 30s will only be determined by how u handled ur life in this phase. (13)
