Important: Don't think of all the things you CAN'T do. Think of the things you CAN do. That's where your mental energy needs to go, or you'll burn yourself up.
Now, look around you. Really, take a look. Look at all the good things you got going for you right here and now.

Chances are that you have access to playing your favourite song, watching some great films, or cooking a good meal. You got all this awesomeness at your fingertips.
Instead of missing what you cannot have, examine your life right now to see what you DO have. Explore how you can enhance the goodness in your life.

Plan an awesome curry night. Really, prepare for it. Get the playlist right, set the table, and cook the best curry ever.
Goalposts? Make entries on that wall planner. You make the rules here.

Take a day off, put it on the wall planner, and dedicate time to think about how to make that day memorable. Schedule a massive family zoom call around a theme, for instance.
Our world may seem very small, but you have a damn big world inside of you.

Make plans for yourself. Lovely, big, extraordinary plans for yourself.

And it'll take time. This is not a quick fix.

Before all this happened we led lives unimaginable to a few generations before us. Trips abroad, big shopping days, nights out.

Right now we need to readjust to another pace of life. And that's hard. BUT it's not a bad life.
I wish you joy and happiness. I have faith in you. Go make that awesome cup of coffee and watch the birds bicker outside.
