dear thais, stop hating Lisa please

— a vv sincere thread.
im not a thai,, but i share compassion with them because im a filipino from a “democratic” country but ended up to be the opposite :-(( we have a trashy government and injustices everywhere🥺
as a citizen of my country i also wanted the best for my country i want my country to get what it really deserves but as a citizen and HUMAN as well,, never did i hated, judged or forced someone influential for not speaking up because i don’t know anything about them,,
i dont have any idea what happens behind closed doors, about what happens behind the cameras i know in myself that i have no rights to judge a person just because of staying silent.
im not saying that we should not speak up for our country but given that a celebrity has a family speaking up would create a big impact positively and negatively, we must know our places as a fan or just a normal people asking for our country’s justice.
i firmly believe that if we really wanted a change, then it must start within ourselves. we must not spread toxicity and learn to respect boundaries of each humans. we are fighting for justice right??
justice is respect as well,, then why would we hate or judge a person for not speaking up?? speaking up isn’t the only way to fight for your country. it is not all about words, it is also about actions.
there are so many people speaking up but the intention is not pure, speaking up out of pressure is not a good thing. how about taking actions even without the public’s notice?? that is much better than just speaking up alone.
a country’s democracy and fight for justice does not depends on a account with a 40.8m followers. again, im not being insensitive and invalidating y’all agonies because our country is crying cor agony as well what i my stand is to learn to respect boundaries.
at the end of the day if you realized the things Lisa has done to your country and if her donations and real situation is revealed to the public,,, can you take back the harshful words you’ve said to her???
if y’all realized how wrong your thoughts or impression about her silence is,, what you gonna do except for regret?? apologize?? will that change the pain that she has been enduring since day 1??
please stop this. you can fight for your country without dragging an innocent fellow thais just because of her silence when she ain’t even the reason for your government’s poor leadership.
iknow respect should not be begged for. but this all too much,,, you all are already crossing the lines. please understand that she is human as well, she has feelings too.
put yourself in her shoes, you really wanted to speak up for ur beloved country but if you family is at stake what are you gonna do?? if u are her and badly want to use ur 40.8m followed platform but your company is holding you what are you gonna do??
you loved your people so much but just because of your silence, they started throwing hate on you without them even knowing what you really are going through, what would you feel??? pain. yes pain. that is what she is feeling now
you hate a toxic government but you yourselves are being toxic to an innocenct citizen?? how are you diferent from your government???
we, international fans are not invalidating your agonies what we are just saying is stop forcing and harassing Lisa anymore. because none of these is her fault. she is not someone to blame.
y’alll must all remember that it must be democracy vs the government not democracy vs Lalisa Manoban
-end of thread-

again, i stand with you and am not invalidating your agonies. i just want you to understand and respect this girl. please, because you dont have any idea what she is going through right now behind the camera and behind the public’s eyes🥺
