Five a.m. is the time to weave Aizen backstory theories, let's go friends, let's go.

So remember how I keep mentioning Aizen-MyoOh, all the time, the alleged namesake of Aizen Sousuke, cuz not only are their names homophones and kanji wise, somewhat ironic, there is plenty of->
parallels to Aizen that basically tie the two together. A quick read of Aizen Myo-Oh's wikipedia page will likely convince you that there is a connection, but we're not here to cover that (not fully). Today I've been thinking about the peasant garb in feudal japan and ->
the practice of "aizome (藍染め)which is literally "indigo dye(ing)". It was often used for dyeing the fabric of peasant kimono, and Aizen myo-oh too is associated with the practice, being a patron of the workers in the fabric dying craft. Aizen Myo-oh's kanji are
"love dye" so, not only is it a homophone, but one kanji is the same. Aizen Sousuke's last name is literally "indigo dye". Like that's literally it. And I've been thinking for a bit about the possibility of Aizen being a peasant, given the obvious link to aizome, but->
The "destined divine" and his own confirmed "consciousness" of being divine, and the whole world play with Aizen-Myo Oh. Aizen so far is the only one named after a real deity? (Arguably Yhwach, but thats it's own can of worms) So I was wondering, which is it?
I mean, divine themes =/= nobility or anything, but there are too many signs pointing at him having some sort of connection to nobility, mostly why does he know so much? And there's this flashback of him as a child in a shihakusho.
Now, I know, I know, that's, in a way, Ichigo's interpretation of his youth, but so far, all flashbacks, spoken by the person themselves, or narrated by someone else (sajin's grandpa @ sajin) were pretty accurate. You see baby sajin, rukia, renji, hitsugaya in plain kimonos.
Heck, even Byakuya and Yoruichi don't wear shihakushos. So what gives? Why would Aizen be wearing one as a kid? Wouldn't he be standing out as a prodigy? And why would he become a lieutenant that late in life? Thinking about this gap, the dual nature of divine and earthly of->
his name, I came to a theory. It's mostly based on my previous one, where I speculated on Urahara and Aizen's "Divine" origins, but backed up by this wordplay?
So, say, Aizen grew up as an apprentice to Ichibe as a young child. Near Senjumaru, and working under Ichibe,
wearing a shihakusho would not be unusual, nor would he be known as a prodigy in soul society. Something happens, say he witnesses the Soul King's true form, and is banished from the Soul Palace. Whatever name he had then, perhaps even something fancy/noble, is rewritten to Aizen
And given the "power of names" in Bleach, Ichibe giving him "aizome" as a name, somehow, restricting him to a peasant, but, it's still referencing a deity from our world (Which ichibe wouldnt know of) so it's still a cheeky reference to his true nature, of a potential god.
And say, he wakes up in rukongai and lives out his life as "Aizen", a nobody, with a very scary amount of power, seemingly out of nowhere, which isolated him, and made him an outsider. Given that in the "Masked" Databook Aizen's bio mentions that a "consciousness that he is
a being that can transcend to divinity started to awaken in him, and he thus became an envoy of this "noble" calling," makes me think, that despite the name erasure, his inherent, divine ego slowly awakened. Hence him applying to the academy in the first place and
why he rose through the ranks so inconspicuously, and so late in his life. His experiments generally start off 9 years after urahara became captain. That's pretty late. I'm speculating that the consciousness formed slowly and he had to gather a lot of data to even begin.
Hence Aizen would be both, technically a noble (since all shinigami are minor nobility, in a sense) and a peasant. Well, more specifically "Aizen Sousuke" would be one condemned to peasanthood. Whatever his previous name was, would be well, the noble/sublime/divine one.
And thats about that. It's just conjecture/speculation, so I wouldn't take it seriously, but i'd be cool if his name was an elaborate wordplay like that. Anyway, thanks for reading! *goes back into hiding*
