There are provisions under the AWA for poisoning (specifically Section 31).
If found guilty, the farmer is liable to a fine no less than RM 20k, not more than RM 100k or imprisonment for no more than 3 years

P.S. They are an alien species, probably wouldn't call them invasive yet poisoning without authority should not be allowed. It would be a dangerous precedent for animals and wildlife in Malaysia.
