Tbh this side of ibara is the side that i love a lot. He is truly the wicked strategist

Sometimes people think ibara is weak, way weaker than nagisa. If you read the story revolves around him often tbh its not hard to understand how he actually is.

Ibara is strong, he is known as genius and capable alone but he is shining the most when he is guiding a great leader.

How would you think a kid his age able to command that much people and company if its not the power of fiction /no i mean if its not because he is that smart?

Eichi offered him something more about ES but he rejected that, he was satisfied with what he just need.

Too much power will tied him down and thats the least he want to happen. Thats the similar case on why he point makoto as the leader of information department despite being the sponsor himself.

He stay because he agree with that idea. Theyre both equals who do the "play" for display. The display that ibara want.

Other than that, i think in most of story Eichi often show his acknowledgement abt ibara. He find working with ibara amusing and he often praise ibara as the rival he always want to fight.

Eichi have a very big backing while ibara still struggle to put his standing from his great grandfather's fallen empire. He even have to struggle because of bad seed like GFK pops up or his own people dangers him.

On top of that, ibara isnt the type who enjoys the throne seat

What he want isnt to be the king. But to be someone who stand by that throne seat, he doesnt care who win in the war as long as he benefited with it.
