alright alright alright another mini thread explaining my use of neopronouns

short answer: never been comfortable w he she or they pronouns found out neopronouns exist n was like boom found what i’m comfy with

LONG answer: i’ve never been comfortable w any sets of “normal” (? sorry if not the right word, but like traditional pronouns). i’ve tried pretty much all combinations of them throughout the years and never truly been comfortable being referred to as any of them

i knew alternate pronouns were a thing but always looked at them funny because of how much they got bashed online, and still do. like early this year i started heavily considering using neopronouns myself but was literally terrified to

because even though it’s only been a few month the acceptance of neopronouns of twitter has grown which makes me happy, but at the time i still saw a lot of tweets bashing them n i felt hella bad even considering them

i decided to keep using she/her and they/them although it made me uncomfortable but decided to add two sets of neopronouns onto them like,,,two??? months ago?

yo i was SCAREDDDD to put them in my bio lmao i was scared of exclus attacking me n stuff cuz i had seen it happen before. basically p much everyone except for like one friend kept using she/they for me and disregarded the neopronouns so i was like

fuck it LMFOAAOAO i’m not comfortable w she/they and dropped them and now i try to solely use neopronouns because they make me feel the most comfortable womp womp womp eeeyeyeyeahhhh

anyways i still get nervous asking people to use them so i just kind of uh. just be like Ok when someone uses she/they for me because ik it’s hard to learn them n stuff like shit it took me a lil to learn my own LMAOOO

anyways i’m also autistic so uh idk it ties in w the use of neopronouns (also xenogenders but i don’t go by xenogenders) but u don’t have to be neurodivergent to use them
