Btw, this is what I’m talking about. They asked for a bio that includes what I would do with the dog if I’m traveling or going on vacation. I said I’d take them with if possible or we have a dog sitter stay with them.

The rescue wants someone who doesn’t leave the house ever.

If the dog genuinely cannot handle being separated from the owner and needs someone home everyday, that is fine. Just disclose that in the description.

However, if that’s the rescue’s/shelter’s requirement for approval, they are actively harming their own mission.
