We can easily confuse this Hiras with harassment . This is from Farsi هراس and means fear.

Daar دار ਦਾਰ is probably most versatile word in Frasi after be بے ਬੇ and ba ਬਾ با . Add sense to so many words. We are familiar with so many words like Sardar ਸਰਦਾਰ سردار, jathedar ਜੱਥੇਦਾਰ جتھیدار. In Farsi account is hisaab حساب ਹਿਸਾਬ . Same meaning in Punjabi ....

Surprisingly accountant is حسابدار ਹਿਸਾਬਦਾਰ. Though we have word for accountant as lekha adhikar ਲੇਖਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ , or muneem ਮੁਨੀਮ مُنیم how easy and meaningful it will be to borrow from Farsi .

Brother ਭਰਾ is Same in Farsi as brother برادر (ਬਰਾਦਰ) . And bradari ਬਰਾਦਰੀ is fraternity. Derived from brother ? Brotherhood ?

Gza ਗਜ਼ਾ غذا is from Farsi means food. So “Gza Te jaana” or “gze charia” refers to going out to collect food ( by begging ).
