Protests are events for Nigerians. Especially the ones over 35.
They're used to never winning. Never getting the government to actually act in their interest.

They've conditioned themselves to be happy with and even congratulate themselves with "Eh! We have told them!".
That's it.
A few faces get more famous.
Some kick off or further their political careers.
Some just get the "thanks for coming" envelope from the govt and dip.

It's an event.
Thats why it's easy for them to say, with no sense of irony that the "protests should just stop now".
They have absolutely nothing to say about the lives lost during this struggle. Don't ask them. You will only lose your shit when they say "toh...that is life, dear".

To them, it's lost its novelty and they want to get back to "suffering and smiling" and telling each other that
"God dey" & "E go better" even though history and evidence proves that to be a lie. 😂 😂

Now they are seeing this thing go in a way they could have never fathomed.
Fair enough, we had men in khaki as presidents, back then so this would have been straight suicide back then. Lol
But even then this has been being impressive and no matter how it goes from here.

Points were made. Wins were counted. And for the 1st real time... The government was shook!!!
If they had this much energy for any of the things they were voted in to do we would be so much better
off.

Well done everyone. And if y'all say WE MOVE?

Then we fucking move!!
