The boxes have been going out since May, but according to politico, it was only in August that the letter started being included.

Okay, reading through this thread with the OP who got the box: typically, these boxes go to people enrolled in a food aid program. But apparently, today, they were dropped on *every* doorstep in a couple neighborhoods in North, regardless of enrollment.
