[1/12] Today, I started working at a fintech startup. 🎉🎉🎉

I want to share many of the lessons I learned during the last year, a year entirely dedicated to improving my knowledge in Software Engineering and Job Hunting.

[2/12] Mostly, I hope this thread will help those who are starting in the tech industry. Otherwise, enjoy my story.
[3/12] Stay up to date on tech. Nothing better than starting the day with a hot coffee and listening to the sound of birds while reading Techmeme ( https://www.techmeme.com/ ), Hacker News ( https://news.ycombinator.com/ ), or TechCrunch ( https://techcrunch.com/ ).
[4/12] Follow the Bad Asses of Tech on Twitter. @DThompsonDev and @andresbarreto have created Twitter lists of helpful accounts for newcomers to the Software Development community that I love to read. https://bit.ly/2T6Ry47  / https://bit.ly/3jcZzyU
[5/12] Share your learning experiences on Twitter. Why? Well, it's a good idea to share what you learn, so you can reinforce what you've studied and teach many people. Also, remember to review what you learned one day, one week, and one month later.
[6/12] Join a tech community. In this way, you can show what you are working on, meetups are enriching and fun, and you can meet new people who work in the tech industry and who probably have a lot to teach you.
[7/12] Build a strong LinkedIn network. It's one of the best places to share your work, your opinion, and news with your professional network. It also generates interest to companies to contact you and probably start a hiring process.
[8/12] Publish in Medium or start your blog. Another excellent idea to reinforce your learning is writing. You can't imagine how easy it could be for your brain to store what you learn when you write a publication.
Generate content in this industry is essential. Imagine that you could save someone a headache.
[9/12] Don't self-filter on job offers. Looking for a job, it's a full-time job. When you consider you have a good level, don't hesitate to apply, the job offers filter the candidates. What does it matter to apply? You have nothing to lose, just a "NO" that you already have.
[10/12] (Sorry for Spanglish) Practica tu Inglés, cada día.
[11/12] Never forget this, start enjoying coffee, your main ingredient for writing code. Nah, just kidding, it's not mandatory, never stop learning.
[12/12] Thanks for all the support in my learning process. @jfcalleh, @JuanOcaDev, @Jormao8, @calypsobronte, @MetaAlchemist, @jdrestre, @jackeado, @akegiraldo, @Giovanni_Perez1, @maribelc86, @sahimo5, @pafuentess and many more people.
