But, her problem is that she has not surrendered or “turned off” the political conservatism when it comes to matters of Faith and morals. All the Pope said was that everyone shares this planet and that we should help poor people. A pastoral statement, not a soteriological one.

But, Mrs Johnson, probably because of libelous right-liberal Catholic media, had in her head preemptively that the Pope is a heretic a left-winger, so she, a laywoman who’s been Catholic all of eight years, feels that she knows Catholicism more than the Pope.

People who went to Latin Mass in 1950 would not even conceive of this kind of thinking. Being suspicious and catty with the Bishop of Rome is not “trad.” Something has to be done about these Taylor Marshall and LifeSite type folks, or this problem will not stop.
