It's both fascinating and meta-ironic to observe the number of commenters below who assume they know what I'm saying merely because I wrote, "oh okay Ben." System 1 thinking all the way down, folks. All the way down.

I never intended for this to be a suggestion that Ben was a racist or a misogynist or an aegist. I know Ben. I think it's immoral to admit that your party is toxic, and has alienated women, people of color, and young people and be okay with it.

I apologize if any of you felt this to be misleading as that was not my intent. My interpretation of what Ben said here is generous because again, I know him. And yet I still think it's pretty immoral.
