The undeniable proof about the divine source of the Quran through the story of Joseph by comparing both stories of Joseph in the Old Testament and the Quran

I’m simply translating from a book about the proofs of the prophethood of the prophet Muhammad pbuh by @DrSamiAmeri May Allah preserve him the book is called براهين النبوة and I’m translation some of the comparisons not all...

The prophet Muhammad pbuh claimed the Quran is a revelation from God and he’s a prophet of God, people who disbelieve in him has to believe the Quran isn’t from God and the author had to get the information from available sources at his time, and that’s impossible...

By comparing the story of Joseph pbuh in the OT and the Quran we would know the author of the Quran couldn’t have copied any scripture and the story in the Quran couldn’t be authored by a man in the 7th century, therefore it has to be revealed by God...

I’m going to focus on
1- character of Jacob pbuh on both the Quran and the OT

2- historical mistakes no man in the 7th century would know about, yet we see them in the story of Joseph pbuh in the Old Testament yet not the Quran...

3- contradictions of the story found in the Old Testament but not in the Quran

4- small details to show the prophet Muhammad pbuh couldn’t be the author...

My thoughts

There’s so many differences in details between the story of Joseph in both the Quran and the Bible and I want to share some of them...

1- one of the differences is the self awareness of Jacob in the Quran compared to the OT for example

not only do we see Jacob has more awareness in the Quran but more importantly he’s the perfect role model for the patient believer, who always has hope in God and it’s completely the opposite in the OT

6- now we move on to a historical and logical comparison between the story of Joseph in the Old Testament and the Quran...

a historical mistake in the Old Testament and we will see if the author of the Quran copied it, because apparently he copied the past scriptures

yet we don’t see that historical mistake in the Quran, even though the only source of the story of Joseph was the scriptures of the Jews and Christians...

the Quran is so clear and direct and consistent even though the Quran was revealed throughout 23 years and the Torah was revealed at one time to Moses, the Quran in the beginning we see the dream and at the end is the fulfillment

13- there’s many details in the story of Joseph in the Quran that’s not found in the Old Testament, I’m going to share a simple detail, notice the emphasis Joseph has with leaving the wheat inside their spikes...

A comparison which proved that storing wheat inside its spikes increases its storage life span so Joseph in the Quran is giving them a very important advice to help them survive the 7 difficult years...

While let’s take a look at the Prophet Muhammad pbuh and his knowledge of agriculture, for those people who claim Muhammad pbuh is the author of the Quran somehow

By comparing the story of Joseph pbuh between the OT and the Quran, we have strong arguments into the divine revelation of the Quran and how it’s not man made, That’s why the pagans of Mecca called the prophet “a magician” and they used to block their ears from hearing the Quran
