Three examples of Jaret Doege's pocket awareness & toughness.

1) With B-gap penetration by KU's Kyron Johnson, Doege shuffles left to buy an extra beat. The additional time allows a crosser by Sean Ryan to bounce open in the 2nd window. Jaret shuffles & delivers a 23-yard gain.
2) KU's Gavin Potter leaks thru on a Green Dog Blitz. Doege knows his quickest answer is an out cut to the wide side by Winston Wright. A tough throw but, realizing the flat player (KU's Davon Ferguson) remains inside the hash, Doege absorbs the hit & delivers it. Pick up of 17.
3) Doege tried to give the out & up by Sam Brown a chance but penetration by KU's Dru Pox made that untenable. Instead, Doege waited for the crosser by Reese Smith to break open from backside then delivered a throw away from the closing safety to protect Smith for an 11-yd gain.
