bsdtwt has a special talent for brushing important issues under the rug and reducing them to superficial things that just make this fandom as embarassing as its reputation is. the original drama today was bc ppl just wanted tw/cw on things that were harmful to them +
and somehow the issue spiralled to ppl being mad at other ppl for being nsfw despite it being in their bios/carrds/etc?? can u all get a fucking grip?? ur missing the issue here which is literally being respectful and kind to other ppl. which brings me to the point of this
which is bsdtwt's blatant ignorance/silence on racism (among other thngs that i honestly... do not have the energy to get into but u all know what shit happens here). ik talk abt racism can be uncomfortable but it needs to be addressed? not ignored? bsd is literally an anime+
its audience is so diverse and full of ppl from all different backgrounds. some of my black friends get a lot of hate or misunderstanding for hc charas as black which im going to let them explain bc thats not my place, but like? its not that hard to understand if ur nb
ur not allowed to speak over or take things that r personal to their culture. and when we see someone doing that n being racism its our obligation as a fandom to call it out. put the energy that u put into whining abt nsfw twts into the more imprtant shit on ur tl.

im also just gonna say that im not saying im speaking over the need for tw/cw and tone indicators those are SO important and bsdtwt's normalization of not using them is bad but the lack of talk abt just as important if not MORE important topics is humiliating and unjust
