summary for those who have no clue what the fuck im talking about: Blaseball is fantasy baseball, with an emphasis on the "fantasy" part. each week a new season starts, and with each season comes new rules, new players, new weather, etc. This week, Season 11, is very interesting.

The big change this season is with the weather. Last season's election voted for the Black Hole decree, so there are only two possible weather condition: Sun 2 and Black Hole

each of these only takes effect if 10 runs are scored, and they either add(Sun 2) or subtract (Black Hole) a win from the scoring team, as well as subtracting those 10 runs from the scoreboard.

one thing i think that diagram is missing, though, is that after each takes effect, play still continues as normal.

lets take this game between @tacoblaseball and @BOS_flowers from earlier today

teams are tied at 9 runs, game is in overtime, next point wins. right?

wrong. well, right and wrong

the tacos score the next two points, bringing the score to 11-9. Sun 2 takes effect, changing the score to 1-9. It's the bottom of the 12th, so the game ends and the flowers win

but here's the neat thing, look at the win-loss before and after the game

tacos get a win from the sun and a loss from the game, and the flowers take a win

despite the fact that both teams have played an equal number of games, the tacos are marked as having played twice as many

everything you know about blaseball is changing

the moist talkers, originally projected to make it to the championships this season, have a 1-5 record.

even if we had control over the game, i cant even figure out what the best strategies would be. im truly lost

sorry for the giant thread clogging up your tl(especially if youve heard me yell about this in real life) but. i am very excited to see what this season has in store for us
