Periodic reminder that this is the same Disney that restored all of their executives’ salaries immediately prior to these layoffs and continues to cry crocodile tears blaming the state while their closest neighboring park sold out all days of their hard ticket Halloween event.

So many other smaller companies have found creative solutions to keep people employed and money coming in while working within the state’s restrictions. Food events at theme parks. Pop-up drive-ins. Drive thru haunts. You’re telling me Disney could do *none* of this?

Disney 110% could’ve done a scaled down version of Oogie Boogie Bash, charged $100 a head, and sold out every night. They could be doing drive thru trick-or-treating and Disney+ branded drive in movies in the Toy Story parking lot. They’ve chosen to do nothing.
