Wow. A huge line for the first day of early in-person voting at the Anchorage Midtown mall. Folks at the head of the line say it’s been about an hour. #Akelect

The line starts here, goes all the way down to the REI store and winds back to the polling station on the right. Just while standing here tweeting, nearly dozen more people have joined the line.

Looking at the line, one lady says “I’ve got all day.”

Camp chairs would be a good idea.

City Hall doesn’t have a line, I mentioned, And some folks ditched out but quizzed me on why I’d know that.
