The people who are making the decisions on protests in Ibadan are on Twitter, whatsapp and telegram. The people blocking the road are not on social media. They believe they are also protesting as we have empowered them to block roads too. The question is,
Se awa ni ori meji?
What gave us the right to mount blockades on the roads and not them? If we could do it and they protected and supported us, why are we saying they are not part of us? We are abandoning them because of lack of social status and education? Or because they are below us? #EndSARS
We are denying those we empowered because we believe we are better than them. Most of our protests would have been shabbily scanty and short if not for their support and morale. Now some people due to class they are ahead of them. This is not a time to abandon them #IbadanProtest
We started and empowered them. It’s time to orientate them and guide them, as this protest as said DOESN’T BELONG TO ANYONE. Regardless of age, gender, sex or class. This protest belongs to all. It’s time to take responsibility and step in to manage it the right way #EndSARS
In the very best coordinated and strategic way!
Cheers!!!
