Since EV is a big topic, I want to point out something. We don't have a national election. We have 50 state elections. There are reasons people vote a certain way in the states they live. It's not a one size fit all. Some states have more historical voter fraud than others

For instance, in 2016 in NC ,Trump and all GOP state office holders were winning....then at the very end Durham county (dem stronghold) came from nowhere and dumped 10,000+ votes. Flipping the race for most of the state GOP office holders to dems. Trump was winning

...at a higher % then the state GOP office holders because they were more Bush/establishment types so Trump was able to hold off that late "vote dump". Burr also was able to hold it off. The thing is if NC GOP votes early the dems know how many votes they need to dump.

2016 surprised them but it was close enough for the dems to still pad the vote enough to win the Governorship and other state offices. PA is the same. FL in places also. Detroit is the same. The more time you give the dems the more they will cheat. The more information you

...give the dems the closer they can get to the magic number they need. When you live in a state with a history of voter fraud you vote differently than in a state without a history of it.

Another factor is the party machine and their ability to get out the vote.

If you live in a state with a strong dem party machine and a weaker GOP party machine, by voting early you give the dems time to get their fringe voters out to the polls. If you ballot harvest, it gives the harvesters a goal they need to hit. Voting on election day takes these

....advantages somewhat away from the stronger group. An example of this is seen in MI and PA today. The EV is going bad for the dems so what do they do? They get Obama out there to Detroit and Philly. Do you think Obama would be out there if the EV was less for the GOP?

The same process is seen with Biden pushing for registrations and knocking on doors once the data came out that Trump beat them to the punch. An election is like a battle. You don't telegraph your troops movement or your opponent will counter it.

Yes, it would be great if everything was fair and people didn't cheat but that's just stupid to believe. Yes, it would be nice to wake up and see your side "winning" every day with the EV, but that means the other side sees you are "winning" and they will try to counter it.

This is why I don't EV and one of the reasons don't support EV. It allows a great degree of voter fraud. It allows the side with "more money" to change the election. It allows the stronger party to keep incumbents and power from insurgents.
