first of all, luca is a vocaloid.
what’s a vocaloid?

a vocaloid is a voice synthesizer product, which is used as a replacement for vocals in songs. in some cases, vocaloids have small bits of backstory, like how len and rin are mirror images of each other. luca is one of these–

cases. luca’s backstory is that he’s a siren. what’s a siren, you may ask?

a siren is a creature that can control people by singing. you might be asking why that matters, and here i am to answer.

a few weeks ago, luca released a rap. it hit 2,000 listens in 1-2 days. with every listen, someone was put under his control, making them love him even more. that’s why every time he asks for questions on his curiouscat, there are tons and tons of love confessions.

as we’ve seen many times, luca leaves and rejoins twitter a lot. and i’ve cracked the code on why.

“if i ever say i’m gonna leave anitwt im either confused or lying.” since we already that luca is a vocaloid, this ties right into that theory. vocaloids receive updates to preform better, which is why he left. he had to leave twitter so they could release luca v2.
