Overdue update: There have been three confirmed #covid19 deaths in San Diego's homeless community per @SanDiegoCounty's Friday update. The county also reported Friday that 350 homeless people in the county have tested positive and 85 have been hospitalized.
As of today, 18 homeless San Diegans staying at the @SDConventionCtr shelter have tested positive for #coronavirus. Another five staffers working at or providing services at the shelter have also tested positive.

The county reports the 3 homeless San Diegans who passed away were:
-A 52-year-old man who died on 7/31 at a National City hotel
-An 83-year-old woman who died in a hospital on 8/30 who previously stayed in a shelter (not SDCC)
